Do we need to pick our breakouts?

No need to pick breakouts, just join the one you are most interested in attending. We record all sessions and they will be available on The Photo Managers Academy by Monday, May 3rd,  2021.

Can I change from one breakout session to another?

Yes, you can switch by going back to the lobby and then clicking on the agenda and entering the breakout you want to attend.

How do I get the handouts?

Not all speakers provided handouts.  You can access any handouts at this link or on the individual watch page for the presentation.

What is our conference hashtag?

#TPMcon2021. Don’t forget to use this hashtag and tag @thephotomanagersofficial on Instagram or @thephotomanagers on Facebook.

How do I share my photos for the final slide show?

Use this Dropbox link to upload your photos. The deadline is Saturday, 4/17 at 10am ET.

When will I get the recordings of the conference?

We will have all recordings available on The Photo Organizers Academy by Monday, May 3, 2021.  As an attendee, you are automatically registered for the conference recordings. 

THE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE

What browser should I use to access the conference?

The online conference platform works best in Chrome or Firefox.

How do I take a selfie at the virtual photo booth?

Head to the Conference Lobby page, click on the Photobooth banner, and it will access your computer camera. Hold up your name tag, wear a silly hat, make a funny face – let’s have fun and share with everyone! Your pic will be automatically saved to a gallery for us (check out the gallery here f you’re logged into the conference), but don’t forget to use #TPMcon2021 when you post on social media!

How do I connect with the vendors?

Go to the Conference Lobby page and click on Expo Hall banner. You’ll be able to see the videos and handouts provided by each vendor.  They will also be available to chat during certain hours of the conference. Check your conference schedule for details. 

Does each event (breakouts, generals sessions, etc.) require a different link?

Yes, the links to enter each event can be found in the Conference Lobby, under “Agenda.” Each session page also has a “Join the Next Session” button, so you can move right into your next class.

How do I get the handouts?

Not all speakers provided handouts. You can access the handouts at this link or on the individual landing page for the presentation once the conference is open.

How do attend a virtual networking event?

Visit the conference lobby page and click on Virtual Networking Lounge to click into the current networking session. You will then be brought to Remo, the platform we use for networking. Check out this video to learn how to use our networking lounge. 

What time is the virtual networking lounge open?

How do I activate my virtual Visa gift card?

Virtual attendees received an email from mailer@dcrstrategies.com. Check your junk/spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox. Follow the instructions in the email to log in, update your user name and password, and can use the $25 card wherever Visa cards are accepted. 

When is everyone eating dinner together virtually?

We know this is complex, with time zones, families, and lifestyles. But, if possible, bring your lunch, dinner, or snack and join the group in the Virtual Networking Lounge on Friday between 6-7pm ET.

How do I book a photoshoot with Chris in Atlanta?

Where do I meet Chris for my photoshoot?

Meet him in the Library of the hotel, on the lobby level.

Do Atlanta attendees get a $25 Visa Card?

No, the $25 card was a surprise sent to all virtual attendees to purchase a lunch or dinner of their choice. All of your meals are included in your registration.

Where are the meals being served in Atlanta?

Invitation Only, Masterclass Lunch Thursday – 11:30 am – 12:30pm ET

Thursday Dinner: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm ET

Breakfast, Friday and Saturday: – 7:30 am – 9:00 am ET

Lunch, Friday – 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm ET

Dinner, Friday – 6:00 pm – 7:30pm ET

Lunch, Saturday – 12:30 pm – 1:30pm ET

 

Breakfast will be served in the Ballroom Foyer and you can bring your food into the Ballroom.

Lunch and Dinner will be served on the Terrace on the third floor.  In the event of inclement weather, they will be served in Grand Ballroom I.
