Amberly Russell

Amberly Russell is a United States Army veteran and has had a successful 15 + year career in operations and communications. Currently, she is the Preservation Services Manager at Permanent Legacy Foundation. She holds an M.A. in Literature and a master’s degree (Master of Science in Information Studies) from The University of Texas at Austin focusing on UXR, libraries, archives, and community outreach. She worked on accessioning the Texas Music Collection at the Wittliff Collections and has experience in metadata migration for oral history repositories. She has an adventurous spirit and entrepreneurial mindset. She also enjoys being a dog mom and practicing photography and videography in the music industry in and around Austin, Texas.
