WEEK OF CONFERENCE

April 20

2:00pm – 5:00pm EST

Business Building Workshop & Coaching Session (optional)

A NOTE FROM CATHI NELSON:

In January of 2021, I said yes to a one-year intensive leadership coaching program that has been transformative for me. I have met outstanding entrepreneurs, all seeking to win at work and in life. The focus of the coaching session on Wednesday will be based on the lessons I have learned and implemented, especially from the bestselling book, The Gap and The Gain.

That is why this coaching is for all members at any level. We won’t be talking about the how to’s of photo organizing but more about how we can end the feelings of being overwhelmed or not measuring up. It is part of the human condition to feel like we could be doing more, and this time will help us reframe that point of view. I promise our time together will be fun, interactive, and ideally transformative. Can’t wait to be together!

~ Cathi Nelson, CEO The Photo Managers

From the book:
Most people, especially highly ambitious people, are unhappy because of what they measure themselves against. We all have an ideal, which is like a moving target always out of reach. When we measure ourselves against our ideal, we’re in “The Gap.” However, when we measure ourselves against our previous selves—the person we were when we set our goals and ideals—we will be in “The Gain.” In “The Gain” we can more clearly see the progress we’ve made, and therefore will experience the happiness, confidence, and satisfaction that come from achieving—positive, powerful emotions that will motivate us to pursue new goals and ultimately become increasingly successful.
