Metadata is at the core of every digital photo organizing effort. It is essential to understand what it is, and how to effectively use it in the course of our work. We will break down the types of metadata well beyond the standard fields we use, talk about innovative methods for helping us organize files, learn efficient methodologies for inputting keywords, as well as simple ways we can teach our clients to use it.
At the conclusion of this presentation taught by Peter Bennett, you will:
- Have a more complete understanding of the scope of different metadata fields.
- Be able to utilize metadata more effectively in their digital photo organizing projects.
- Learn efficient methods like the use of a structured keyword sets and Controlled Vocabularies, for imputing keywords.
- Be able to instruct clients on simple and easy ways of using keywords and metadata with their photo libraries.
