Every month we bring you a conversation with a professional photo manager. They will share their background and career journey, what they love about their job, what’s challenging, how they found their first clients, and advice for those just starting out.
Join us for a conversation with Weronika Gasperczyk, the photo manager behind Bank Wspomnień. Find out what it is like to be the first photo manager in Poland and how this journey started for her when she was trying to make a photo book.
Weronika Gasperczyk dreams about a world where children can flip through albums and photo books and women feel empowered to tell their stories. She wants to help people take pictures and use them as she believes memory keeping is an essential step to improving the quality of our lives. She believes memory keeping is important “for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health.”
As a photo manager, she is also on a mission to ensure that the Digital Dark Age will not happen. She believes that if we don’t start securing our information, pictures, and videos, they might soon be gone forever. She is active on Instagram and Facebook, where she publishes inspiration and tips about photos & memory keeping.
