Join us for a conversation with Lisa Deneau, founder and owner of Once Upon A Tail Photo Books. Lisa is a book designer who specializes in creating beautiful keepsakes of animals and their human companions.

Lisa is a visual artist with a love of animals. She started taking photos when she was given a polaroid camera at age 10 and has been a photo enthusiast ever since. And she’s been the guardian of beloved animals throughout her life. She has a BFA degree in painting and has been designing books since 2009. Prior to joining the Photo Managers in 2021, she spent 25 years providing marketing and business development services to architects and engineers in New York City. During the pandemic she created a professional space in which to return to her love of photography, animals, and books, with Once Upon A Tail Photo Books.
