Join us for a conversation with Paul Einarsen, owner of Bluewater Imaging. Paul has always been a photographer, which he says ought to disqualify him from being a photo organizer because photographers love their photos too much to throw them away. But out of college he landed a job in the commercial printing industry as a color specialist for a company that did scanning for high-end catalogs. That put him on the front lines of the desktop publishing, digital photography, and digital asset management industries as they developed and grew.
As digital photography became more and more accessible to consumers, Paul took a job at Apple and was helping Apple users manage their photos and videos on their Macs when he became aware of The Photo Managers. With the launch of the iPhone, he saw digital photography set to become an entire lifestyle skill with a need for education and support, so he started Bluewater Imaging.
Now Paul works with Apple Photos users worldwide to help them get the most out of their digital photo experience, both to integrate legacy photos and to create systems for day-to-day use.
As a long-standing member of The Photo Managers, he also offers support and training for Apple-centric photo organizing solutions and business strategies.
