You’re so welcome! While you wait for your gear to arrive, you can spend some time thinking about things like what file naming conventions will work for you, and getting archival storage lined up to hold the originals while you whiz through the scanning 🙂

I found the answer to my own question on the Adobe Support Community. Unfortunately, no, the version of Lightroom that runs on the iPad (Lightroom CC) does not support tethering at this time. Only Lightroom Classic, which runs on a Mac or PC computer, can tether to a DSLR for camera scanning.

Hi Adam! You got me to jump over to the Forum for the first time. You’re our Pied Piper. I wanted to let you know I did finally hear from the Skier company in Taiwan. They said they can’t ship the copy box to Mexico but are sending it to me at a U.S. address instead. Not sure when or how I can get it across the border, but I’m sure it’s worth the wait.
