Adam, Are you an affiliate with this company? I am looking at their website and trying to decide if I need to get the professional. Right now I only have this one computer and it doesn’t seem cost effective to purchase a 300 program to fix one clients issue. I will message them about the process of recovering from one computer and if the download has to go on said computer. Not sure this laptop even has room to download it.
Adam, thank you for the info. So i can put the data recovery software on an external hard drive of my own and then use that on any client computer that I may have to find missing files. Correct?
And I was going to try with the free version first and if need be, purchase something. Do you have a go to software you would recommend?
I just received a bag full of SD cards EHD and jump drives that a client wants me to organize. She uses and Apple computer and so I am ASSUMING these are all formatted to a mac. How do I check that on my PC? And will I be able to retrieve them to a common hub on my PC so I can work on them and then move them to an ExFAT formatted new hard drive?
Or should I plan on borrowing a mac computer for a few days.
