Thank you Meg and Adam for your replies. I know I will be make tagging and metadata mistakes so I like Adam’s idea of setting the expectation with clients and then set a follow up visit to correct the easy stuff. I’m still thinking about what to do with client files. Adam, do you keep a separate EHD for each client and store it? Do you keep a backup too?

I went with Acronis True Image. Pretty easy to use. Not cheap. I’ve been really pleased so far. It seems this is what is most often recommended for PC users.
