Each year in September, The Photo Managers host Save Your Photos Month. However, with the recent wildfires in California, USA, and disasters happening all around the world, we had to act! We couldn’t wait for Save Your Photos Month in September to offer some support! So, Save Your Photos Week 2025 was held this March to help everyone preserve their photos now.  The free videos on our YouTube channel continue to help thousands save their precious memories from disaster.

The #LASTRONG Scan Your Photos Drive was the kickoff event for Save Your Photos Week. Join us in the video below as Haleh Shoa of Picturli gives a live tour of the event. With support from our partner Epson, this event helped Los Angeles locals scan their photos for free during this special weekend!

Behind-the-Scenes at Picturli’s Scan Your Photos Drive

The #LAStrong Scan Your Photos Drive showcased the critical work of preserving family memories. This remarkable event not only inspired Save Your Photos Week 2025 but also helped fire survivors recover and digitize their precious photographs.

Haleh’s studio opened its doors to survivors, offering professional scanning of family photos that might have otherwise been lost forever. Despite challenging circumstances, volunteers worked alongside professional photo managers to help families preserve their most treasured memories. In addition, the tour Haleh gave us on this YouTube Live broadcast provides an intimate look inside a professional photo management studio, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how photo preservation experts work. Check it out to see the scanning process, hear survivor stories, and understand the emotional importance of saving family photographs.

After this initial kickoff event, free live classes were held daily to help people everywhere make sure their family legacies are safe. All the videos are now available on our YouTube channel and will be highlighted here on The Photo Managers’ blog.
