The must-attend event for professional photo managers every November.

Profitability LIVE

Now in its third year, we are continuing the tradition of having deep and meaningful conversations on pricing and profitability, the key to any business success!

This year our theme is “Multiple Streams of Income”.

If you read many stories about entrepreneurship, you’ve probably noticed that most entrepreneurs have multiple streams of income.

By having money coming in from multiple sources, entrepreneurs can make sure they are prepared for all opportunities and potential slow times.

But how do you actually create a profitable business using this concept?

This year we are offering two breakout choices, one geared to the experienced business owner and the other for all business levels.

As an established business owner have you considered your exit strategy?

Would you like to offer additional services or products but don’t know how?

Can you sell your business or license your expertise?

Do you know what part of your business is most profitable?

Are you wondering how to add passive income to your business?

Do you know how to spot trends when looking at your numbers?

In addition to learning from your peers, our keynote speaker is Danielle Hayden, a reformed corporate CFO (Chief Financial Officer), who is on a mission to help rule-breaking female entrepreneurs understand their numbers so they can gain the confidence needed to create sustainable profits.

Two Tracks Based On Your Level of Experience

Boot Camp 101 - Financial Fundamentals with Danielle Hayden

TRACK: All Business Levels
As an entrepreneur, your attention is pulled in a million directions. Regardless, productivity and running a profitable business should be your priority. That’s a daunting task, which is why Bootcamp 101 is ideal for new business owners and seasoned professionals ready to dig deeper into understanding their numbers. In this fun and energizing breakout, you’ll learn about accounting systems, bookkeeping, how to avoid the most common pitfalls small business owners make, and most importantly, how to pay yourself.

Boot Camp 201 - Next Level Financials with Danielle Hayden

TRACK: Experienced Business Owners
You have a handle on your numbers and bookkeeping and are ready to learn how to make more informed business decisions; such as giving yourself a raise, hiring, renting space, adding equipment, or attending an advanced training program. In this session, Danielle will share how to set up and use a weekly dashboard, the power of 1%, analyze which products you offer are most profitable, and the cost of hiring vs subcontracting.

Open Networking

This is your time to network with your colleagues and prepare for a great day of learning. We use a fun interactive virtual platform called Remo that allows you to move from virtual table to table.

Creating Profitable Offers That Sell with Caroline Guntur

TRACK: All Business Levels
In this session, you will learn how to create a profitable offer that fits your target market and sells, but that doesn’t leave you burnt out and underpaid. We’ll talk about the big picture of how the offer fits in your business, what’s in it for your clients, and what’s in it for you. The strategy presented can be applied to any type of offer, including courses, coaching, and full services.

“I teach this to my coaching clients, and some of them have gone on to create offers that generate multiple six figures annually, so I know the strategy works well.” ~Caroline

How to Supercharge Your Revenue by Licensing Your Expertise with Erin Austin

TRACK: Experienced Business Owners
Your income and your impact have plateaued. Should you work more or hire more? The answer: Neither. To scale—which means profit increases as revenue increases—you must decouple income from time. If you provide a service that could be delivered by others, locally or in new markets, let’s talk about licensing. Licensing your expertise to your clients or to other service providers is an efficient way to scale your business, extend your reach, increase your income and multiply your impact.

Pricing Your Services for Profitability with Darla DeMorrow

TRACK: All Business Levels
One of the greatest challenges to ensure you are profitable is pricing your services. Join Darla DeMorrow as she breaks down key benchmarks and shares two recent case studies of actual clients and projects she has completed. You’ll learn what is profit (and what it isn’t) and why you need it, industry benchmarks, bottom-up vs. top-down planning, and job costing versus overall P&L tracking. Then Darla will demonstrate her process by sharing two recent projects from deposit to completion.

Selling Your Business for Top Dollar with Adrianna Smith & Lana Hout

TRACK: Experienced Business Owners
Have you ever considered the possibility of selling your business? Owners commonly look to sell when they are ready to retire, feel overworked, or experience a family emergency or illness. Many attributes can make your business appear more attractive, including increasing profits, consistent income figures, and a solid customer base. We will discuss key factors that impact the value of a business in today’s market and how to increase the value of your business before selling.

Open Networking

This is your time to kick back, relax and network with your colleagues. We’ll have fun prizes and you’ll have opportunities to process what you’ve been learning using a fun interactive virtual platform called Remo.
