The Photo Managers is thrilled to introduce the Impact Scholarship, a heartwarming initiative by Sharon Wunder.

Photo Managers around the world continue to be inspired by stories of resilience, compassion, and the power of preserving memories. Sharon’s incredible journey is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the importance of capturing and cherishing our most precious moments.

Sharon Wunder’s Journey

Sharon Wunder, a self-taught portrait photographer and interior design consultant, found herself at a crossroads in life. She joined The Photo Managers organization in January 2021, seeking a new sense of purpose and connection. Little did she know that her life was about to take an unexpected turn.

In June of the same year, Sharon received a life-altering diagnosis: stage four glioblastoma, an aggressive and incurable brain cancer. Despite the devastating news, Sharon chose to live life on her terms, focusing on quality days with her family. Her inspiring journey led to many gifts that future generations will cherish.

The Impact Scholarship

Sharon’s commitment to preserving memories and honoring life’s journey is the driving force behind the Impact Scholarship. She is generously donating $3,000 to a member of The Photo Managers, covering all expenses to attend the organization’s 2024 conference in Columbus, Ohio. This scholarship aims to recognize Photo Managers who share Sharon’s passion for creating legacy projects for clients facing profound loss or chronic illness.
