I attract photos and have quite a few personal photo projects on my to do list. 1. A giant manilla envelope with 100 year old negatives from cousin Dee. 2. Thousands of slides from my in-laws (I have two boxes in my possession and am told there are still hundreds more). 3. Several sticky photo albums from Aunt Jan, who passed in July 2019. 4. Hundreds of family history photos that I've attracted from cousins via my genealogy addiction. I scanned a good deal of them in 2010, but I didn't know what I was doing and the resolution is too low. Re-Do! 5. Several of my Mom's photo albums from my lifetime. 6. Hundreds of envelopes of photos from my Dad who passed in 2004. 7. Aunt Irene's photos. 8. Uncle Butch's photos. 9. Trip to Gresham to scan cousin Steve's photos. Thankfully, my digital photos are taken care of and my backup system has been working for 10 years now! I joined The Photo Managers to learn from the experts so I can do it right the first time and build my skills. By the time I complete the myriad of projects already on my plate, I'll either be ready to begin the certification process or I'll be throwing in the towel.
